How to choose between platform, canopy and round beds
By Areeba Parveen, Maison Areeba · Published · Updated

Platform feels bigger in a small room. Canopy gives you softness without heaviness. Round is for when you want no corners. We make all three in teak, walnut and sheesham - size is always yours to decide.
Platform beds sit low and let the room breathe - they are the right call when ceilings or floor space are tight. A canopy gives you a soft, private corner without the heaviness of a four-poster. A round bed is for when you simply don't want corners.
Whichever shape you pick, the size is yours to decide. Send us your wall and your mattress, and we make the frame to fit.
A quick way to choose: measure the clear floor space around the bed. If you have less than 60 cm on each side, go platform. If your ceiling is high and the room is calm, a canopy adds height and softness. If the room is square or you like a sculptural centrepiece, a round bed works - sheesham is our wood for curves.
